Please advise Hyde Estate & Letting Agents should any of the below instances occur.
If you smell gas, immediately open windows and doors to ventilate the area, then leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 from outside. Do not turn any electrical switches or appliances on or off, and do not light any flames or smoke.
If you have loss of gas and a prepayment meter, check that you have enough credit and that the meter is not faulty. Should a fault occur call you supplier.

To report a power cut or issue with the distribution network please call 105.
If you have a total loss of power. Check for a local power outage, look outside to see if your neighbours have power. If not, it is a local power cut. If this is the case call your electric provider, who can give you an update on the situation and when you can expect your power to be restored.
Should the loss of power be localised to your property, check your consumer unit, its location will be detailed on your inventory, check if any switches are in the “off” position or in the middle, which indicates a tripped breaker. If a breaker is tripped, push it back to “on” to reset it. If the power comes back on and the breaker stays on, the issue may be resolved.
If the power trips again its good practice to unplug all electrical devices and appliances, turn the tripped switch back to the “on” position, if the power stays on plug each electrical item back in one at a time, should the power trip during this process it’s very likely the last item plugged in is faulty. Should the power not come back on once all electrical appliances have been unplugged and the breaker has been pushed back to the “on” position you should not keep resetting it.
If the problem persists after checking the breaker and your meter, contact the out of hours emergency number which can be found on your inventory.
If you have a prepayment meter, check that you have enough credit and that the meter is not faulty.

Here’s what to check
Check with your neighbours – If you’re on a common supply pipe, check if your neighbours are carrying out any works on their property that may impact your water supply.
Do you have cold water but no hot water? – Check your cold water tap in your kitchen. If you’ve got cold water but not hot water, you may have an issue with your internal pipe work or boiler which a plumber should be able to help with. Check your house for leaks – check your house for any burst/leaking pipes which could cause a drop in pressure. Should a leak be detected your stop tap must be switched off as soon as possible to prevent damage to the property.
Should you have cold water but no hot water or heating this is likely a drop in boiler pressure. This can be topped up manually to 1 – 1.5 bar pressure depending on your specific boiler (see manual).
